Also, I learned that Duffy was the original owner of Tradewinds and Bananas.

la Viequesense, awesome sandwiches for breakfast. Sandwiches seem to be their early morning thing...even pastrami!

just a note about the comment from ccc "Yes, Navio is a bit wavy but they are certainly not huge - knock you over type - waves.".. be aware that if the south shore is wavy, navio can be very dangerous.. broken neck or drowning dangerous.. it has many beautiful days, dont get me wrong.. but if it looks and sounds mean on the day youre there.. it IS dangerous.

I have to agree with Caribbean miss, we have been there during some rough times. I watched my DH and friend get toppled time and again in the surf.
It is still a beautiful beach and I am sure not every day is like that!

By the way, I have been toppled at Blue Beach!! Just when you realized what "hit" you and get up, another one gets you from behind!
But I think that was just an unusual day there!
