? about the Marina Cay (BVI) beach

Hello,
I've read reviews and looked at photos. I can tell the beach is small and the water is calm and clear, but I can't grasp how the beach is. Is it a nice sandy entry into the water or is it rocky and drops off quickly? To put in simply, would a 4-year-old be able to 'safely' enjoy himself on that beach?
Thank you.

That's Pusser's Marina Cay beach.

When I was there, it was nice, calm and shallow enough for far enough for a 4 year old. It is a small beach, but big enough for drinks and lounging.

Caribtraveler – I have not stayed on Marina Cay but have visited a number of times, the most recent in May of this year. Farthest from the restaurant, towards the Pusser’s store is a small beach, which looks to have a sandy entrance. Nearer the restaurant, there is a fine sandy area with a few sets of wooden steps that take you down into the shallow water. Some areas there are a little rocky, although the set of steps farthest from the restaurant looks sandier. The area in front of the restaurant leads you directly into the water, one side of the jetty is a little rocky and the beach is mainly made up of small pieces of coral and shells, the other side of the jetty is sandier. I have numerous photos showing the different areas that I would be more than happy to email if you contact me or post your email address. I hope this helps.
