A place like Cap Jaluca?

I thought I found the place to spend my honeymoon in September...Cap Jaluca. Only one problem, they are closed in September. Can anyone tell me other places in the Caribbean about equal to Cap Jaluca? With rooms, bathrooms, and a view that's comparable to this.

The exact same thing happened to us. I was psyched about going to Cap, then found out they are closed the whole month of Sept.. I wonder why they do that.., anyway we ended up booking 5 nights at the Ritz in St. Thomas and 7 nights at the Westin in St. John. Hope you have a great honeymoon!

I've considered the Westin in St. John. Worried there may be too many kids around. Are there, or can you still relax and have some privacy?

Cap Juluca, Cuisinart, and many others on the island of Anguilla, close during September, and part of October so they can refresh, repaint etc, and it is the height of the hurricane season. I have seen the damage done on this island post Luis, and the mid November storm Lenny.

Most of the kids are back in school since it's after Labor Day. There still may be some young ones around but St.John has a lot of private beaches if you want to be alone.
