The cheapest direct flight I can find from JFK is $564 in May. Should I wait? Any good website recommendations to search for flights. I've been using travelocity, orbitz, hotwire, expedia. Thanks

We-e-l-l - There are always 'specials' on later which happily coincinde with hurricane season which is roughly mid-June - Mid November. So - for $100 less you could end up with a hurricane experience. It depends on what you want from your vacation ! I'm assuming that fare is return. I think it's pretty good - it's a long way!

$575 out of philly is average, us airways sent out an email for $250 out of philly for april- but the offer was short lived and we actually booked it. It was less expensive to go in early april on the cheaper flight and pay the higher room rates-- in late april the room rates drop - significantly.

I paid $700 for direct flights out of JFK, so your deal sounds good to me.

I paid $691 from NE Ohio for the end of April, so I think you got a great fare!

We paid over $700 per person to fly from JFK, but that was president's week. I think $564 is a decent rate. Check with AA directly, that way if there's a fare reduction, they will pass it along.

You might want to try Sidestep.com. I usually find good rates on the site (it shows airlines that Expedia et al. doesn't).

Right now it's a good price. I am looking at $582 from Orlando in May. If you book and the price goes down AA will issue a voucher for the difference

Try the sites again, I just saw JFk to Provo (PLS) for around $417, depending on your dates. Try also AA Usairwys, and Delta directly. If you can't get those fairs on web, try calling airlines, for $5 fee, they can sometimes find them for you!!!

I agree with the above poster. AA just announced a Spring Sale and I got round trip from Orlando for $464 rather than $585

For anyone who is trying to book a vacation to T&C. I discovered the airfare is cheaper (from JFK) if you book your hotel and airfare together through aavacations.com.

mnag,
Check out CheapCaribbean.com; they are offering a $999 p/p airfare from most major East Coast cities and 7 nights at the Sands. We booked this AM, for the end of May. We travled to TCI 2 years ago and paid $700 for air plus hotel, tax, etc at The Sands...We feel like we got a pretty good deal...
