2 mid50's friends looking for spa vacation

One of us lives out west, the other back east. We want to meet for an R&R type vacation which MUST include spa services, especially massage. Thinking of Westin - Our Lucaya because coming from out West, its one of the few Caribbean (I know, Bahamas technically not Caribbean) I can get to in one day. Any feedback on the spa at this hotel, and any other suggestions? Thanks. (This would be early June).

You might consider checking out spas in Barbados -- it's a fabulous island, and some great spas.

Sandy Lane resort has a fabulous spa, and a new one that will open this fall is at Villa Nova. I've written some reviews at: www.caribbeanedge.com if you'd like to see about these hotels. You click onto Barbados and then go to accommodations and the various hotels --reviews are there.

Just back from Round Hill in M. Bay/Jamaica. The spa is set in an old plantation house. They use lovely English botanicals and well, the setting is magical. They have ongoing summer specials for those traveling now: 2 spa treatments for 80.00 USD. I found this property very restful.

Just viewed the top 10 hotels in the Caribbean on T.V. last night and the spa at the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas looked really nice! You can get more information online.

Try San Souci Jamaica. Great spa, nice restaurants, very relaxed resort with wonderful service and staff. Plus it's AI.
