10 Day Vacations

Are there any 10 day all-inclusive vacations offered in Aruba or the Carribean at all?

Where do you depart from? Have you talked to a travel Agent? In the Midwest you can go to Cancun and surrounds for 3,4,7,10,14, &21 days on package tours. dan and ginny

I am departing from Ottawa or Montreal, Canada. I have spoken to travel agents and I cannot find any 10 day vacations from here.

I am departing from Ottawa or Montreal, Canada. The travel agents that I have been in contact with do not offer 10 day packages.

I am a travel agent and know that you can make a vacation for as many nights as you like, it doesn't matter where you are flying from.

The only time it matters, is if you are trying to book a charter--because they usually leave on a certain day for a certain amount of nights (3, 4, 7); but with regular scheduled air you can package any amount of nights.

Any questions, feel free to email me.

--Megan

Hi Darlene,

I live in Ottawa and went for a 10 day package to Barbados from Ottawa last year. It all depends on which island you want to go to. The Air Canada Sun Vacations book has 3 or 5 day starting packages for several islands and you can add as many days as you like up to 29. All travel agents should have this book and be aware of it. (I used Nepean Travel). These types of packages are available for Bermuda, Grand Cayman, Barbados and Aruba. I think the reason it is limited to these islands is that the others may not have daily flights in and out but these do. I hope this helps.

Linda

The problem may be that some all-inclusive resorts do charter their own planes exclusively for their guests, eg. Sandals, Allegro, etc. and typically fly Saturday to Saturday, etc. They may not do that for all their resorts but there are other all-inclusive options out there on many islands and packages with air that afford you the opportunity to vary the length of stay since they use the regularly scheduled airlines that fly daily. Maybe start with the regularly scheduled airline sites and check their vacation packages to see which resorts they might have that offer all-inclusive. That might give you more options and even some Marriott's and other hotels on specific islands do offer an all-inclusive option (but not necessarily the hype of the Sandals, etc) but since you are not booking a specific "charter," you would have more flexibility.
