Your favorite Romantic spot in Old Quebec City
My husband & I are able to do a last minute (and much needed) 3 night get-a-way during the week. Quebec City looks so beautiful...it has to win! We were hoping for a quaint B&B in/near Old Quebec City for our anniversary. B&B suggestions and Romantic "must do" are greatly appreciated!

I haven't been to Quebec City for ages but a friend went recently and loved the Auberge Saint Antoine.

Looks great, but we were hoping for a B&B.

We stayed at Chateau des Tourelles in the spring and just loved it.

In QC check out:
Laurie Raphael(big anniversary dinner) Yuzu(japanese-mid range) L'Echaude(bistro) |
We have just returned from 10 days in Québec, with two nights in Québec City.
For a B&B inside the walls, I can thoroughly recommend Le Clos St. Louis. It's in two townhouses on rue St. Louis and is furnished in the Victorian style. It's not inexpensive, but the rooms are elegant and the welcome is warm. http://www.clossaintlouis.com/ For an anniversary dinner, I can recommend La Crémaillère on rue Ste. Anne. The food is excellent, the service is very attentive and the prices are not excessive. Just around the corner from the Clos St. Louis is Le St. Amour. It is one of the best in the city and its prices reflect that. |
We stayed at the Ste. Anne in upper town across from the Chateau Fountainac (sp.), lovely place and convenient to all sights.

For dinner I'd recommend 'Aux Anciens Canadiennes' in Rue St Louis. Great food and ambiance and just across the road from Chateau Frontenac. We went on the guided tour of the chateau- excellent.

We stayed at Maison Demers. Perfect location. It is B&B in upper town. Paid $70 CAD.
