winery tours

hey y'all

can anyone suggest a 3 day itinerary for a wiine tour in the okanogan valley?

Three days is a good amount time to tour a selection of wineries all the way from Vernon to Penticton.

In Kelowna Mission Hill has a spectacular setting, and a patio cafe serving lunches (with their wines) - pricey but good food and a gorgeous view. They also have wine tastings, a tour, and a gift shop.
Also in Kelowna - Quail's Gate is in a pretty spot, has a restaurant that serves dinner (not sure about lunch), naturally has wine tasting, and a gift shop.
There are a number of smaller wineries (estate wineries) in the Kelowna area that are well worth the visit (if you want to stock up on wine etc.), one or two of them were affected by the huge wildfire last summer - but offhand I can't recall which ones (we actually toured some of these wineries just one day before the fire erupted; it was so sad to hear about the damage.)

It's quite a small area-start in the North and work your way South.

Just be asbsolutely sure to check out the smaller *cool climate* wineries on the link I gave you.
There is a well established 'Tourist Trail' but it's easy enough to avoid ;)

Two of my favorites are a small one called Carriage House and I also like Black Hills.

On the road between Penticton and charming little Naramata are several wineries. I don't drink wine so I have no opinion on that, but they were nice spots to stop for lunch.
