Daughter and I are thinking of a quick trip to BC. A stop in White Rock is a consideration because for some unknown reason, I have always wanted to visit there.
Any advice on what there is to do there? The beaches look inviting.

White Rock has a strip of restaurants and shops along the beach, plus the pier. Higher up several blocks away from the beach are some popular craft breweries. Not too far away is Crescent Beach, worth a stroll too.

if you want to stop be aware that there is paid parking everywhere if you want to take a walk down the pier which is about mid-way along the strip
tide times do make a difference on what impression you might get out of your visit.
there are some interesting steep hillside streets into explore in White Rock before you head out to Crescent Beach and Blackie Spit nearby.
