Where to eat?
 

We will be in the Uclulet/Tofino area for 2 days.

We are staying at the Tauca Lea in Uclulet and we have reservations at Boat Basin for one night.

We sure could use suggestions for lunches and a dinner in the Uclulet/Tofino area.

Uclulet is just starting to build its development ( a shame, actually, but they want money, too) and I have to say there is very little there in the way of dining to attract tourists. We had a nice lunch at Matterson House, a rec by a bookstore owner.

Bailey, I had actually read your thread and it was a huge help for our restaurant choices in Victoria. BTW, we booked at Café Brio which was one of the suggestions.

We will do Boat Basin for one dinner, but still need another dinner and lunches in Tofino/Ucluelet, mainly Ucluelet since we will be staying there.

Oliverandharry, thanks for the suggestion of Matterson House. You are right, there are not many restaurant choices in Ucluelet, more in Tofino.
