Where to dine in Niagara-On-The Lake?
My husband and I will be enjoying a week in Niagara-On-The-Lake next month. While we have a couple of places in mind for dinner, Inn on the Twenty in Jordan and Hillebrand Winery, we would love your thoughts on these two establishments, plus the addition of others to round out the week. Is Zee's worth a dinner? Any assistance directly from someone who has been there would be excellent as opposed to reading "paid for" advertisements. Thanks!!!

Dinners - consider these as pricey and excellent rated in order IMO... Escabesche in the prince of Wales for true French.. very foo-foo On the Twenty in Jordan Village, Vineland Estates,Penninsula Ridge,Peller Winery, Strewn Winery, Hildebrand,Riverbend Inn, Charles Inn, Pillor and Post, Queens Landing. Zee's is not worth a dinner but could be a patio lunch... the top 7 on this list are all excellent but I don't recommend Escabesche unless it is a very special fancy occasion On the Twenty offers an excellent dining experience... a bit pricey but quality food of local origin... Vineland,Penninsula Ridge, and Peller are on beautiful vineyards and the view adds to the dining... Strewn and Hildebrand are excellent food with a bit less setting. For casual and lunches consider the following... Zooma Zooma in Jordan village, The Irish Harp in NOTL, the Old Winery on 55, Angel Inn Pub, EastDell winery, Epicurian in the village and the Shaw.... that should get you started... |
don't miss about thyme bistro
its better food than the fancy winery restaurants and its less money too... |
THANK you soooo much for ALL of the info. We are set! We have heard of several of the restaurants suggested, but now feel better about making reservations since we have first hand info. We love to travel and dining is definitely an important part of the trip. We are very much looking forward to our vacation. Thanks, again!

Another vote for a dinner at the Charles inn.
