Wheelchair accessible trails, sights, activities, etc?

We'll be visiting the Canadian Rockies for a total of 8 nights in early September.

We start with 3 nights in Banff, then 3 nights in Jasper, and then 2 nights in Lake Louise. We have one person in a power wheelchair and are looking for all wheelchair accessible trails and activities in the area. Main issue is the surface of the trail, length and incline are not much of an issue. As long as the trail is smooth, it should work.

Would love to get some recommendations for all wheelchair accessible trails, sights, activities (boating, etc) in the Banff/Lake Louise/Jasper area.

Check the Parks Canada website for each park. They will indicate accessible facilities and activities, or will tell you where you can find further details. If you call the Parks Information Centre for Banff and Jasper NPs, they should be able to help you.

I agree that Parks Canada should be able to help. Haven’t been to that part of the world recently, but I would guess most public buildings such as museums and theatres are accessible these days.

Have a great trip.
