What's the best (quickest) route from NJ to NB?

We are planning a trip to New Brunswick in late June. What is the quickest route from NJ? How long a trip is it? Is there a ferry? Thanks

Interstate 84 to Interstate 495 to Interstate 95 to Bangor. Highway 9 to Calais, Maine and across to St. Stephen, New Brunswick.

To the best of my knowledge there is no ferry boat to New Brunswich from the USA. there is a ferry to Nova Scotia, but that adds time and miles to your trip to new Brunswick.

The route above is probably the quickest, but it is far from being the best, for anyone on a vacation.
