What documents and transportation I need to cross to Canada by Taxi or Car?

Me and my whole families are planning to go to Canada however we heard so many different stories about passing the boarder...you see we are planning to go through Buffalo NY airport transfer...and cross the boarder by Taxi. we have so many question lately...one of them is is, do we have to have a visa...for your information we have a USA Passport...I did my own search online on http://www.cbsa.gc.ca/ and looks like we need a signature at the checkpoint which I am a little confused at because we kinda confuse it with a Visa...is visa or it is just a stamp at the boarder? our other question is. what is the affordable hotel with good quality at Niagara Falls in Canada? we are thinking about to book it in http://www.qualityhotelfallsview.com/ which we think it is very affordable, we are budgeting the spend upto 100$ per night....the other main thing is Taxi transportation....as far as my research goes there is no ground transportation to Canada from Buffalo except taking Airport Taxi...I did hard research to find a reasonable priced Airport Taxi,,but it's kinda not what I thought...,,I found a couple one which plays fair price among the many for instance http://www.buffalo-airporttaxi.com/ they offers 50$ , http://www.buffaloexpresstaxi.com/ and http://www.buffalotaxicabservice.com/ about 65$ which we chose the first one in terms of their cheap price and they give free extra time to tour the area...is there a better transportation beside this Taxis? the last one is which is the good place to see in Canada? We appreciate in advance for your time and cooperation. I know I have asked so many question and I hope someone is willing to help us in this regard tks again.

If everyone in your group is a US citizen, the only documentation you will need are your US passports. If anyone is not a US citizen, then you will need to research the rules for the country of which they are a citizen - both for entering Canada and re-entering the US.

I believe that taxi/shuttle or bus are the only options for getting from the Buffalo Airport to Niagara, Canada. The prices for taxis seem pretty cheap given the distance, the hassle of crossing the border and returning to the US. I'd pay about the same amount for a 40 minute ride to the airport where I live, and that doesn't include crossing any borders. The cheaper prices are probably for shuttle taxis - i.e. pick up at set locations or multiple parties in one vehicle.

You can find an extensive list of options for transport to Canada at the Buffalo Airport Website: http://www.buffaloairport.com/Canadian/Ground.aspx

Depending on how many you are, it might work out to be cheaper to simply rent a car in Buffalo and return it when you are leaving. You'd have a lot more flexibility.
