wedding location in the rockies

Hi
We are planning on getting married in the Rockies in mid June. It has been suggested that we pick a location after we arrive but we would really like some help in narrowing down the choice.

We are getting married in the afternoon and ideally would like a location that is scenic and relatively private. I hear the most scenic places are very busy.

We had in mind the meadow at the Nordic Centre in Canmore. Does anyone have any thoughts on this.

Thanks
Kea

can't comment on your location but i saw wedding pictures being taken by the bow falls in banff and i thought it was a great location for pics.

Hi Limerick,
How about the top of the mountain at kicking horse ski resort in Golden? You can take the gondola up and find a spot that is private. Great views , and a restaurant too. Cheers, Al

In fact the Eagle's Eye at Kicking Horse has two suites, so you can spend your first night there. They are not cheap, though.

Kea, check out the Mt. Engadine resort near Canmore. It is in a very beautiful location and it won't break the bank.
