Waterton National Park
 

Any suggestions on where we might stay in Waterton National Park. Looked at the Prince of Wales and the rooms seemed very overpriced. Just looking for something well maintained and affordable.

I found the Crandell Mountain Lodge to be reasonably price, clean and nicely located. It's not on the 'main drag', but a very easy walk to any of the places in town.

Too bad the Kilmorey Lodge burned down.. Good luck in the search, just tracking your thread to see what else might now be available.

when are you travelling? things are getting booked up for the summer so get on it asap if going in july or august. i was originally looking at crandell - i think the setting looks nice, but reviews are a little iffy lately (rooms are run down), have to drive to town and i e-mailed them a while ago asking about if they had renovated and they have not responded...which i don't appreciate. ended up booking at waterton glacier suites. i'd also look at bayshore inn and aspen village.
