Visiting Montreal in August

Which neighborhoods are safe to stay and also which neighborhoods are aloud at night? I am planning on staying near Milton Park.

Milton Park and surrounding areas are fine. We recently stayed in Chinatown and loved the location. Closer to the old town & waterfron, but still an easy walk up Mont Royal or over to Little Italy.

Milton Park is fine. I am not sure what your question is about night time?

Good area - close to the downtown and the plateau. Safe area, as is most of the city.
