Vieux Quebec restaurant recommendation - hi, med, lo?
Have begun to pick away at the bucket list and always wanted a second shot at Quebec. Two-and-a- half days coming up in Old Quebec in early August.
Having made hotel reservations (Clarendon - ca va?), we are now looking forward to the possibility that on peut bien manger. (That's about the best of my French.
Anyone have a favorite recommendation for low-end ($US10-12+ pp breakfast, brunch, light lunch) med (20-30) or high end (30+ splurge not counting wine)? We like everything, although not entirely sure of eating as heartily as it sounds like traditional cuisine may be. But game for everything but game, so to speak. And atmosphere is a consideration as well -- terrace, bistro, etc.
Yes, wish it could be a week. Or three.

Historic location adds to ambiance. One of the oldest restarants around.A splurge.
