Victoria hotel with kitchenette?
Last visit toVictoria we stayed at the Surf Motel- I thought it was a great spot but traveling companion found it noisy. It had great views, close to walking path along the ocean and a kitchen.
Any recommendations for something similar? |
The Admireal Inn is in James Bay by the Inner Harbour. Great
location - not on the open water like the Surf but excellent area. http://www.admiralinnhotel.com/ |
We stayed at Chateau Victoria and really liked it. Some suites have a kitchenette. It might be more expensive that what you are looking for, though.

The Oswego is great for an upscale room near the Inner Harbour but I personally would only stay offseason as there is no air conditioning.
Someone at work recently stayed at the Helm's Inn, a little gem that might suit you. If you recall that landmark sign near the Empress... Night is for sleeping, Day is for resting....then you will know the approximate location. I always thought the Surf looked interesting but love staying in the Inner Harbour with a kitchenette as its easy to bring home Barb's fish and chips, Red Fish Blue Fish, or a noodlebox take away and near enough to the Flying Otter to walk down for a relaxing drink while watching the float planes depart. |
well we have chosen the Surf Motel - my cousin will wear ear plugs. Have stayed there in the past and enjoyed staying there. Yahoo- am excited as I am going to my aunt's 100th BD celebration.

Glad you are able to stay at the Surf. Congratulations to your aunt - what an accomplishment!!! Have a wonderful celebration.

The Surf is a great location, right along Dallas road and just a short cab ride (or walk) from the Inner Harbour. Enjoy!
