Victoria anniv.

Think of staying 2 nites at Fairholme Manor, and the next 2 nights at either Amore by the Sea or drive up to Parkdale and stay at Kingfisher resort, then maybe a ferry to Salt Spring for a quick check out. Or should I stay 4 nites at Fairholme (it looks really elegant compared to Amore by the Sea) and just do day trips to Parkdale etc. but thoought I might get tired of 4 nites in the same place. What do you think?

Assuming you mean the Kingfisher in Union Bay, I think I'd stay in Parksville rather than driving all that way to stay there.

Could you recommend something romantic on Parkdale??

? I don't know of a Parkdale. Do you mean Parksville?

Yes, Parkville. What if I stayed 3 nights in Fairholm Manor and did day trips to Nanaimo and up that way. Maybe taking a ferry to Salt Spring Island for 1 day and then returning to Nanaimo. I don't know where to spend the 4th night that is why I was thinking Kingfisher. But then I found Pacific Shores somewhere up there, and Waterfront Welcome B & B in Parkville, and also Ships PointInn up there too. Ever heard of any of these?? Should I bag Courtney and just spend 1 night in Salt Spring Island (although I heard there is not much to do there except shop art galleries etc) Help!

I'm not sure why you'd want to go to Nanaimo. I'd probably stay somewhere like Tigh-Na-Mara in Parksville.
