Vancouver - Travel & COVID-19

Hi,

I am planning to arrive in Vancouver on July. I will fly from Israel.
As for now, are there any restrictions on the arrival to BC/Canada? Is a COVID test required? Are masks mandatory in BC? Are things open?
In addition, I want to cross the border to the U.S., is it possible nowadays?

Thanks a lot

Of course there are restrictions, like most places if not Israel. Rather than asking a forum of well-meaning amateurs like me, you can go to the official sources in Canadian government:

https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid?ut...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

Only a government would have such a convoluted address.

Please keep in mind that the individual provinces may impose their rules, and that the situation is in a constant state of flux so what goes now may be gone in July.

Is the OP thinking he can just come in as a tourist?

To the US, maybe. To Canada, I don't think so.

The US/Canada border is closed for non-essential travel until June 21. Who know if it will be extended once again.

Canada is currently closed to all international tourism and non-essential travel (including to/from the US). There are plans to institute some sort of vaccine passport system, but I highly doubt that it'll be ready by July. (September/October seems more likely, but that's just my guess, no one knows for sure)

I wouldn't book anything unless you're 100% sure you'll be able to get full refunds on everything.
