Vancouver Self-guided Walks

http://www.walkvancouver.com/index.html

Just came across this site of self-guided walks around the city. Good info, time guides, photos, etc.

It's funny you posted that BowenLinda,

I'm taking an urban geography class at UBC right now where for our final project, we're supposed to choose one self-guided walking tour of Vancouver either from the City of Vancouver's website, the Frommer's website or the Fodor's website - do the tour, and then write an essay about what the tour emphasizes (what kind of city are they trying to represent)... and then write what the tour forgot and neglected.

When I read the title to your post, I almost thought that you were one of the students in my class doing the same project!

Carmanah, I wish I was in your class - I'm feeling a tad island-crazy right now. I think I'm going to plan a day in town and take one of those walks myself. Anyway... happy walking!
