Vancouver park info please
A friend of ours mentioned something about taking a ferry which also takes your car and goes to a park in Vancouver. Does she meah Vancouver island and if so what park is that. She is unsure and also did mention about the need to make a reservation. Any ideas out there? Thank you. Larry

Hi Larry,
I am guessing that your friend is thinking of Butchart Gardens outside of Victoria on Vancouver Island.
She is right that a ferry reservation is wise, at least in the busy summer months. You can reserve at www.bcferries.ca . Even with a reservation you should get to the ferry terminal at least 45 minutes before sailing time.

On the other hand did your friend start off in Victoria and take the ferry to Vancouver? Stanley Park is the real highlight of the city. There are provincial parks on Vancouver Island as well. Try to find out a little more info and we can certainly guide you.
