Vancouver, Mountains, Public Transit

Jump to last reply

Hello. I am traveling to Vancouver for only 3 days in October. I will be by myself most of the time, and will be relying solely on public transportation. I am wondering if there is a way to get out to any scenic mountainous areas for a few hours of the day? If so, what suggestions do you have for the best parks to visit? I want to get some great photos, do a few short hikes, and do a little bird watching. I will be staying at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, West Hastings Street.
