Vancouver Island/Victoria Itinerary
We will fly in to Vancouver for a 7-9 day mid-July vacation. Will end up in Vancouver for a 3-4 day conference Interested in fresh air, beautiful scenery, whale watching, good food. We will have a car. Any comments on an itinerary? Please tell me about accomodations that you have enjoyed in the price range of $75-100 US.

Linda,
You can't miss going to Tofino which is located in the Pacific Rim National Park area on the western side of Vancouver Island. It's such an awesome place and Long Beach is paradise.
You could consider using the ingternational hostel
http://www.tofinohostel.com/

It's on the waterfront and located in downtown Tofino -- a sleepy little town with lots of Haida history and as much whale watching, hiking, etc. as you can ever possibly want.

The hostel is as beautiful as any B&B that I've stayed in and there is even a sauna.

Feel free to contact me direclty if you wish.
Winn
