vancouver hotel required before cruise
 

Can anyone recommend a good budget hotel, to stay for one night, close to Ballantyne dock? We require on 21st August.

There aren't actually any hotels near Ballantyne. It's in the commercial port. Pretty much any hotel located downtown is about a $10-15 cab trip from the terminal.

Thanks for that, I don't have a decent map with Ballantyne dock on it I shall have to do a search for one.

I 2nd that there are no hotels near Ballantyne that you would want to stay in...

If you provide a budget then I might be able to suggest some hotels - although it is high season in Vancouver so prices might be a little high. It's easy to catch a cab from any downtown hotel to the pier..so don't worry about that.

Some of the hotels downtown offer free shuttle services to both piers. Hampton Inn is one. Regardless, the taxi fare wouldn't be that much.
