Vancouver Hotel Choices ??
 

Planning a 1 week roundtrip Alaska cruise in August. Will be in Vancouver 3 days pre-cruise and 3 days post-cruise, and need to decide between the Fairmont Waterfront and Pan Pacific Hotels. Have stayed previously at the Waterfront and found it very-very nice but the Pan Pacific is at the ship terminal and might be more convenient. Any help would be appreciated.

The Pan Pacific is right across from the Fairmont Waterfront. The Pan Pacific is a much more grand hotel and has an excellent view of the harbour. By the way, I live in Vancouver and work downtown very close to the harbour. Let me know if you have questions about Vancouver.

After checking hotel prices on the Fairmont and Pan Pacific I found (to my surprise) that the Pan Pacific was slightly less expensive, although both are quite high, so we have gone ahead and booked the Pan Pacific for 3 days before and 3 days after our cruise. Thanks again!!

We are staying at the Hyatt Hotel. Group of about 12 looking for a good, but moderate Chinese Restaurant for dinner. Any suggestions?? Thanks.
