I would add a bike tour of stanley park to the recommendations. There is a bike rental place W Georgia Street ans corner close to Denman Street. hoe this helps.

Supposedly, renting bikes and riding completely around Stanly Park is a "Must Do"----It's only 6 or 7 miles w/ lots of interesting stops. If its pouring rain we're heading inland. If the sun is out or just "wants" to be out--we're heading 4 V.I.

Again, thanks to all and all the great information on Vancouver. I agree 1 day is not enough but it's better than nothing ! I favor going to Stanley Park and renting bikes, and shopping on Robson Street.. hopefully the 3 in tow will enjoy it as much as I do!
