Vancouver GTG, August 29, 2009
 

DH & I will be in Vancouver the end of August and would like to have a GTG on the evening of Saturday, Aug. 29th. Camelbak will be there and is going to help organize the GTG. At this point, we don't have a place yet, but will get details ironed out within the next month or so.

Anyone interested in attending.... we'd LOVE to have you!!

P_G, sounds like a good time but we are visiting Vancouver in July. We seem to have the same idea of leaving the heat of a Kansas summer to visit the cool Pacific Northwest.

Have you found accommodations for Vancouver yet? We are just staying one night before and after our jaunt to Tofino.

No, I haven't. We're going on an Alaska cruise out of Seattle on Aug. 21st & get back to Seattle on Aug. 28th, then will head to Vanc. Where are you staying? Camelbak sent me several links to places, but I haven't had time to check them out. Also want to call RCI and see if we can use any of our points for the hotel.

You'll have to get in touch with Camelbak... she'd meet with you if you have time... even if for just a mini GTG. Have a good trip. We're going to SD, WY & CO the end of June... hope it's cooler up there.

I live in Vancouver and would have been interested but I am anticipating a trip to the UK departing on the 27th!

Oh well... hope you enjoy our city and meeting up with other Fodorites.

I'm a Vancouverite too and would like to attend if my son's baseball doesn't have us out-of-town. Please add me in the mix. You might want to also this on the Europe board where lots of BC'ers hang out.

And would love to have you, hope it works in your schedule. Maybe if not for dinner that day, some of us could meet at a different time for coffee/brunch or something. We will be there 4 days for sure.
