Vancouver and Victoria Restaurants
Hi, I'll be in Vancouver for 3 nights w/ my parents and am looking for some good restaurant choices. Mid - high end ( but not formal attire ( no one will have a skirt or a sports coat)/ Open to all types of food. Also would like a Dim Sum recommendation.
Same for 3 nights in Victoria ( where I live , but rarely go out to eat) Thanks for your help AndrewDavid |
Lots of choices....
I'll start with Nu,Chambar,Parkside, West, Vij's, C, Feenies, Bin 941/942, and Raincity Grill. Do a search on the web to check out the menus and see what you like. Can't help you with the Dim sum choice though! cheers, CC |

Thanks for your tips. I had heard good things about the Bins and Rain City Grill Sam_Salmon, That is one great site . Thanks for the reccie AndrewDavid |
In Victoria, Matisse is my favorite restaurant, by far. In fact, it's right up there as one of my favorite restaurants anywhere...authentic French cuisine in an intimate brick-clad setting. The owners, John and David, are very charming restaurateurs/hosts. They usually go to France every year, specifically scouting for new/interesting recipes.
