Vancouver and Victoria Restaurants

Hi, I'll be in Vancouver for 3 nights w/ my parents and am looking for some good restaurant choices. Mid - high end ( but not formal attire ( no one will have a skirt or a sports coat)/ Open to all types of food. Also would like a Dim Sum recommendation.

Same for 3 nights in Victoria ( where I live , but rarely go out to eat)

Thanks for your help

Lots of choices....
I'll start with Nu,Chambar,Parkside, West, Vij's, C, Feenies, Bin 941/942, and Raincity Grill. Do a search on the web to check out the menus and see what you like. Can't help you with the Dim sum choice though!
cheers,
CC

In Victoria, Matisse is my favorite restaurant, by far. In fact, it's right up there as one of my favorite restaurants anywhere...authentic French cuisine in an intimate brick-clad setting. The owners, John and David, are very charming restaurateurs/hosts. They usually go to France every year, specifically scouting for new/interesting recipes.

Thanks for suggesting Matisse. Have you tried Deep Cove Chalet?
