Vancouver-4 Seasons or Sutton Place?
 

Hello, I am looking for a hotel in Vancouver for two nights. I was looking at the 4 seasons or Sutton Place, can anyone give comments about these hotels, or any other ones? Thanks

Hi, Brian, <BR>We've stayed at the Sutton Place (formerly Le Meridien) several times. It's a lovely hotel; Robson St. easily walkable, good restaurant..recommended.

I Haven't stayed at the 4 Seasons <BR>But have stayed at the Sutton on business many times. Rooms are beautiful, food is great. Location is very good. Particularly if you have buisness downtown or want to do some tourista things. <BR>If you are looking for something a little less expensive but nice. The Crowne Plaza on Georgia is a good location and has some good rates right now - so I understand. This is a newly remodeled hotel. My business co worker stayed there recently and said it was very nice. Also O'Douls down Robson street is a good location as well and reasonable in price. I am not sure what you are looking for in the way of a hotel. If family trip for fun and cost is a factor then try the Holiday Inn Express in North Vancouver. It is actually closer to West Vancouver just across the Lions Gate Bridge. Let me know if you need a littel more info. I stayed at Sutton Place this April -- it's a beautiful hotel, gorgeous rooms and nice European flavor with excellent customer service. Ate at Le Crocodile which has wonderful French food!

The Four Seasons is generally the best hotel, defined several ways, in any city where the chain has a facility. It is built over top of a giant shopping center, and is in the heart of downtown. <BR>But it is expensive. If cost does not matter, it cannot be beat if you like formal, relatively quiet, hotels.
