Valentines Weekend In Jordan
We are thinking of going to Jordan for Valentines weekend. ANy suggestions of where to Stay? With all the wineries I think we have the what to do part covered! :-)

Inn on the Twenty -- but stay in the main building, not the annex / overflow down the road.
Great restaurant, wonderful views... My partner was there for a conference in the summer. BAK |
Knickerbocker, Thanks for the info! :-) Will look into Inn on the Twenty! And not the Annex. Thanks BAK!
|
So we have our weekend set. We are actually staying at Harbour Estates Winery. I have done business with the owners in past years while ordering wine for the Resort I work at. We are actually going to try to hit about 20 wineries this weekend.. We shall see. :-) Will post back on Monday or Tuesday.
|
Theres also a special promotion on at over 25 of the wineries in February... for $30 CN you can stop at as many as you want for an Ice wine sample and matched chocolate... well worth the price... we got nine in last weekend and are headed back for more ... have fun!

Just curious Darlene -- does Harbour Estates now have accommodations? I was unaware of this so would be interested in reading your review. Have a great time.

Sorry Bert. I should have mentioned that I work for the Couples Resort. We have been buying wine from Harbour for years, so I am staying with them. But it would be awesome if he offered that. Maybe they could have us pick grapes in return for room and board. (wine) LoL
Gary. Yummm... Chocolate and Vidal Ice wine.. So Good!! :-) |
So, JOrdan was fantastic! :-) Came home with lots of wine. Such a treat to taste the wine before buying some. We got 8 wineries in this weekend since we had a short time to visit. (had to be back in MIssissauga Sunday) Definitely have to go back. Fraser from Harbour set up a great little itinery for us. We bought Harbors new Baco. Fantastic! And I now have another fave that I may have to travel for but so worth it. Cornerstone Winery does some great fruit wines! There is just way too much to do with just over a day there. :-)
