US Doggies (really, really CUTE doggies!) back and forth over the US border...anything we need to know?
Well, the head head about says it all: Thinking of taking our pooch with on a maritimes venture this fall. Will we encounter any difficulties crossing either direction with him?

You do need proof of current rabies vacination. (A certificate from a registered vet) Apparantly the dog must look healthy, so I wonder what owners of Cinese Cresteds do?

A couple of months ago, both of our cats caught the same bacterial infection at once. When we were leaving the vets, the older one decided to puke in their carrier.
Wife had the sick one on the floor as an asisstant mopped out the carrier. I had the healthier one slung over my shoulder as I payed the bill. The next patient in was a dog of about 6 ounces. The guy behind reception asked if this was ok? I replied that the vet had just told them that they were off meat for a while. The owner pressed the buttton on the leash that sucked the dog up into her arms. The look was piceless. |
icthecat! That's too much! :P Sounds very Yaletown where those dogs are in the dozens.
