Upscale B and B in banff
Hi there
I'm turning to you experts again for help this time for recommendation for a really nice B and B in banff. It's my moms 60th bday soon and I want to send her and dad ona nice weekend getaway to banff. They live in Calgary. Would love to hear suggestions... The banff springs hotel is really expensive and I think they will really enjoy the B and B atmosphere more. :) Many thanks!! DS |
i don't think banff has b&b's so you'd have to look at a hotel. if you told us your budget, dates, walking distance to town? will they be driving? etc...we could give you more advice.

Banff Springs has some good deals often and we had the good fortune to find a very special price as residents of
Alberta( about 149$Cdn)and we were placed in a lovely suite!!Look at President's Club for any specials or directly Banff Springs Hotel. you never know what you may come up with!!! |
Thanks.. I called the Banff Springs and their starting rates are over $300. I'm thinking of the Buffaloberry Inn. It's quite pricey but gets really good reviews. Any thoughts?

$300??? sorry about the suggestion as I have never paid that much at BS. You don't give dates so my checking the President's Club for you will be not much good. If there is a big difference in the cost join the club (free) and book away. Never heard of Buffaloberry so can't help you there.

BTW Trip Advisor comment says Bberry Inn was a better experience that Chateau Lake Louise and Post Hotel..that sure says somethinhg in my books since the two mentioned are outstanding.
