Underwhelmed by Montreal - any suggestions?

Montreal is an amazing place and it just needs to be rediscovered. Its a place where fond memories can be made. IT depends on what you want to do, who you are with and more importantly...Reaching others is where its at! Are you willing to step out of your comfort zone?

Hard to know whether Montreal is worth a repeat visit for you.
If you are looking for something that seems older/more "European" I think you might prefer Quebec City.
We go to Montreal and the Eastern Townships of Quebec quite often and really enjoy the city. areas you might want to explore: the Plateau, Mile End, Outremont and Little Italy neighborhoods of the City. This section of the very good tourism web site describes different areas to explore
