Two days in Canada, where to go??
 

We will be spending 2-3 days in Canada, coming from International Falls, Minn. Any suggestions as to what to see, where to stay or restaurants. We have two children, 14 and 11. Thank you!

Canada is fairly big. Do you have any idea which part of Canada you will be visiting? <BR>If you are just in the International Falls area, you might consider driving west to Winnipeg, and staying at the downtown Holiday Inn, which has a great pool. Take the children to the Art Gallery of Manitoba. <BR> <BR>BAK <BR>

You must realise that Canda is HUGE!!! Far larger than the US, and very sparsely populated. In 95% of the country, you will find nothing. A better idea is to take an organised trip to a specific city or cities, such as Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver. Quebec city is a lot of fun for Americans (Paris in Canada)....

dear tiny bubbles, <BR> <BR>canada is the largest country in the world since the soviet union broke up. in spite of the fact that it is sparsely populated, you would still need more than 2 to 3 days to see very much. perhaps you need to consult a map. toronto is a big city with a lot to see. <BR>

Tiny Bubbles...........The State of California has more people than All of Canada. Of the some 31 million people scattered from coast to coast, which ones would you like to meet???

Gee Al, it's too bad you only have 3 days to see the US of A. <BR>I have 5 days, so no doubt should be able to see ALL of it!!! <BR>Tiny bubbles....I, too need to know where I should base myself for this trip.

I think I will have time for the US. <BR>On Christmas day we visit with my son in Atlanta, then we will drive over to St. Louis for supper at my cousins and be back in Montreal a day and a half later. (I don't like to drive at night.) <BR> <BR>Actually this whole things reminds me neighbor's daughter. I don't think the girl is dumb, she just runs in on non academic tracks. She decided that her topic for a high school English theme would be entitled The Population of Canada. Using sources for her information is something that is usually concluded after 10 minutes on Internet. <BR> <BR>Her theme went something like this: <BR> <BR>Canada is a nation that is close to the United States, but it doesn't have much population. Most of what population there is, is in the south because of the United States. In the north, it is too cold to have much population, so there are not very many people. Some of them are Eskimos and some of them are not. <BR> <BR>Well her nerdy little brother suggested that she could make the paper more erudite by substituting another word for population, which he did for her on the word processor. I will leave to your imaginations the identity of the word that her brother supplied. (He survived.)
