Trip Report

I would like to that everyone who answered my questions and helped make this a trip of a lifetime..It definitely was that!..We drove from Prince Edward Island to the West Coast in and out of Canada...We crossed the border 10 times with no problems other than a few huge lineups...We drove the Cowboy Trail, saw quite a few cowboys ,nice drive..Spent a day at Spruce Meadows watch the horse jumping...nice day, good for families..Spent 4 days in Canmore/Banff Area..Golfed amongst a herd of Elk at Banff Springs..amazing!..Hiked Johnson's Canyon..Spent a day at Lake Louise/Lake Morine..Don't miss these, very beautiful..Went to the Spiral Tunnel..Got there at the perfect time and saw the train go through the mountain..Drove the Icefields Parkway..saw lots of wildlife..Cut our time in Jasper to 2 days..went to Miette Hot Springs..relaxing..Wish we had spent more time in the Banff area and skipped Jasper...Headed to the Okanagan Valley...golfed, toured wineries and went to the Rock Creek Fall Fair..a very enjoyable day with lots to see..Spent a week on Vancouver Island visiting family..always love the Coombs Country Market and the Cathederal Grove..I just mentioned a few of our highlights...Again thank you Fodorites for helping us make good decisions for our vacation.
