Travel from Quebec City to New York City
 

My husband and I are cruising from NYC to Quebec City in September. We would like to travel from Quebec City back to NYC by some method other than flying. I was hoping we could ride a train from Quebec City to NYC, but the only train I can find is Amtrak from Montreal to NYC. Has anyone ever done this? And how would we get from Quebec City to Montreal?

You could take the train from Quebec City to Montreal on Via Rail, www.viarail.ca and catch the Amtrak from there.

We are planning to go by car from NYC to QC, next july. Which are the must see sights on this trip, you ,travelers, recomend? Thanks.

There is also the Orleans Express busline. It travels quite frequently from Quebec's train/bus station to Montreal, and back. Unlike buses and bus stations that I've seen in the US, it is clean. There are also plugs for computers. It may have WiFi, but I'm not sure about that. The bus isn't just for the young, poor, cheap, or down -and-outers, a good mix of people ride it.
