Transportation from Montreal Airport to Vieux Montreal

I'll be in Montreal this August can anyone tell me the best way to get from the Airport to my hotel in Old Montreal? Thanks

We took a cab. We stayed in Old Montreal as well and I think the cab fare was not more than $20.

Thanks for the info

Hey Danteinferno:

"Best way" could have multiple definitions.

1. Quickest/easiest with heavy luggage: Cab, usually CAN$28 from Dorval to downtown locations, including Old Montreal, plus tip, CAN$30.

2. Cheapest (I've done this once with a duffel bag, would not recommend with heavy luggage): 204 Cardinal bus from to Dorval train/ bus X-fer stop, 211 bus from bus X-fer stop to Lionel Groulx Metro Stop, Metro to Place d'Armes/Champ de Mars Metro, walk to hotel. CAN $2.50; make sure to ask for transfers.

3. Intermediate in price/might work with heavy luggage: Shuttle bus (Aeroports de Montreal) to downtown + cab once downtown: $10 + $7= $17.

Bon voyage, DAN

Thanks Daniel Williams you're right about the definition, easiest and cheapest seems to be the cab.
