train station

Are Amtrak and VIA in the same vicinity, and exactly what part of town?
Thanks.

I think you will have to help us a bit: what town are you talking about?

Amtrak and VIA BOTH I believe operate in only 3 Canadian cities: Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. I know that the train station VIA and Amtrak use is the same in Montreal and Vancouver, and can't imagine this would not be the case for Toronto (I've never taken Amtrak out of TO). All 3 stations are located quite centrally, either in or very close to downtown, in all of these cities (in Vancouver, a short Skytrain hop to Downtown).

Best wishes, DAN

You catch Amtrak and VIA in Toronto at Union Station downtown, on the subway line.

Sorry about leaving out that vital piece of information. My question was for Vancouver.
Thanks.

As Daniel stated, both ViaRail and AMTRAK operate from the same station in Vancouver. If you go to either web site, you can look up the station address then use google maps show that location relative to the rest of town.
