Toronto Men's Shopping
Can someone give me some advice on where to find good men's clothing. I do not want to pay the inflated prices that are found at Eaton Center. I do not mind driving out to the suburbs or other parts of the city to shop.
If you watch for sales at the Eaton Centre, it's about as good as it gets. Any Winners store (downtown on Spadina south of King Street West is one branch) can usually be a source of good shirts, casual pants, mid-range ties, and some other stuff. Start at Winners and walk north on Spadina, and pick out the discount clothing stores from among the Chinese stores, and you'll find bargains.
The Eddy Bauer outlet store on the street that runs west from in front of the Toronto Star printing plant on Weston Road, south of highway 400 and Highway 7,is full of bargains.
BAK
In a most unlikely area - Kensington Market, a store called Tom's Place. I think it's on Baldwin Street - check the phone book.

Boss, Hilfiger, etc. etc., designer suits, great prices.

A very special place for well priced quality mens clothing is the Moore's dicount store near the Toronto airport. The Moore's stores themselves generally represent good value and excellent choice. The warehouse discount store is extraordinary. Not only is the quality good - e.g. genuine Harris Tweed sports coats at $70 Canadian or less the choices are also good. Definitely worth the trip.
