Wow! There is so much to see and do in Toronto and the surrounding area. I know that there are bus trips to Niagara but I would highly recommend renting a car and seeing all there is to be seen in between.
Big highlights include the CN Tower and SkyDome, Art Gallery of Ontario, Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), theatre district (Broadway shows and more), and all the fine dining and shopping. Feel free to email me any specific questions or give me some details about what you like to do and I would be more than happy to give you lots and lots of information! I love bragging about the place I love so much and miss while living in Florida! Can't wait to move back this fall - it really is the best city there is! Hope to hear from you! Megg |
Don't forget the really impressive zoo!

Walk around and explore Toronto's great neighborhoods. It's one of the most, if not the most, multicultural, multiracial city on the planet.
The Annex is the cool student neighborhood next to Univ. of Toronto. Go to Kensington Market and have Jamaican jerk chicken or Indonesian rice bowl. Chinatown, Little India, Japantown, the upscale Euro-feel of Bloor-Yorkville - T.O.'s a great town. |
MartyTravels - you forgot the amazing Greek town on the Danforth!!! mmmm! Oh, and little Italy!!!

I agree with other suggestions but, with 7 days, you do have time to rent a car for a one day trip (or overnighter) to Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake. If you've never been to the falls, it will be well worth it.
