Toronto French Restaurant

Need suggestions for a French Bistro in Toronto with great food and ambiance at a reasonable price ($150 for two)?

Try asking the chowhounds. It's the best Toronto restaurant site. To do a search use "control f" http://www.chowhound.com/canada/boar...o/toronto.html

I suggest Le Papillon (http://www.lepapillon.ca/), which also serves Quebec/Brittany style cuisine; Le Paradis (http://www.leparadis.com), or Le Select (www.leselect.com). I have seen mixed reviews of Le Select recently but it is certainly still a Toronto standard.

For a cross between fine dining atmosphere and french bistro food, Pastis Express is also very good, but more expensive than the others.

Le Paradis is my favourite. Large portions of good food, reasonable prices, and a great wine list. Reservations are a must.
