Check out www.nowtoronto.com -- it's a great little arts and entertainment newspaper. It's online and you can pick it up free at just about any restaurant or street corner. It comes out on Thursdays.

We'll be more help if you can tell us when you're coming, for how long, and whereabouts you're staying.

What you like to eat wouldn't hurt either.

Oops, just noticed the thread title. So you'll be here from Feb 15 to 18.

You probably should visit the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) and see the new addition. They call it the Crystal. Some call it the aluminum siding. There's a good dinosaur show there now and it's right across the street from the Ceramics Museum which is more interesting than it sounds.

To answer the other questions: I got a "couldn't refuse" room deal at the Marriott Eaton Centre (last times I was either at the Intercontinental-Yorkville or the one downtown near Union Station).

Food? Did you say FOOD???? Just about anything that isn't still moving or looking at me in the eye!

Does this mean there will be a mini GTG? Count me in!

Two things...just got off the phone with a friend in Toronto...I'll have dinner with her and her mother one night but I can make that happen revolving around any possible meet-up with Fodorites so I'm wide open.

I just posted on the driving from Buffalo thread and it looks as if Tri-Dude is going to be in town the same weekend.

No, I arrive the afternoon of the 15th (Friday) and leave early on the morning of the 18th (Monday)

OK. I could have done Monday night for sure but maybe I can still join up over the weekend.

Great city, lots to do. Toronto.com is a good site but so is toronto.ca (city of toronto's official site). I'd recommend you see Queen Street, Yonge Street and Kensington Market--something a little off the "tourist agenda".

Thur or Friday best for me, possibly Saturday - was thinking of going to Ottawa for last weekend of Winterlude but that idea's not carved in stone.
