Top Five Things to Do in Victoria
We need your help!

We are four travelers from California who are heading to Victoria for the second time. We (four young adults ranging now 18-25) were there once when we were kids and want to revisit old grounds. But we are weighed down by lots of choices via many internet searches. If you could please list the top five sights/tours/attractions/things to do in Victoria that would help us narrow down our ideas for the four days we have there. If we should travel out of Victoria (within reason)let us know that too. Thank you!!

I love Sooke and anything in that area (Royal Roads, 7 mile pub (?)). Just anything in Sooke. It is great. Also, the harbour area. Vic. residents, please help out.

Victoria:
1. Royal BC Museum
2. Hatley Park at Royal Roads

Near Victoria - Brentwood Bay:
3. Butchart Gardens (not my favourite but tourists seem to like to go there)

Outside Victoria:
4. Tofino/Long Beach

5. Hmmm, depends what you like to do. A scenic float plane trip might be my choice.

Take the ferry over to Salt Spring Island for the Saturday morning market place. There are lots of fun galleries on the island as well.

Definately go whale watching to see orcas (killer whales).
