Things to do/places outside of Toronto?
 

Hi, me and my gf in our late 30's are going up to TO and wonder if there are any nice places to go outside Toronto. Thanks if you can help :)

where are you coming from , what are you interested in, and most importantly :what time of the year?

Hi Danon- I'm going at Xmas/New year's from Wash DC. I'm interested in great restaurants and trendy stuff/shopping and not too touristy things. Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean when you say 'out of Toronto'? There are tons of lovely small towns within a couple of hours drive -- nice inns, shops, restaurants, galleries, etc. Will you have a car? Also, it's definitely touristy, but if you've never seen Niagara Falls, it's worth the drive (about 1.5 hours from Toronto).

this you will find in Toronto, not outside the city.
The weather is always a factor, so I would not go too far. I agree,
NF is touristy but worth seeing.
