Terminal transfers at Pearson
How much time should we allow to transfer between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3--we are flying from San Francisco and Rome on Air Canada and go through Pearson.
oops make that SF to Rome.
If you are travelling from SF to Toronto on Air Canada or a Star Alliance carrier (e.g. United, Continental) then you transfer within Terminal 1.
According to the schedule we would arrive from SF in terminal 1 and the flight from Toronto to Rome leaves from Terminal 3, and vis versa on the way back, so I was trying to get a sense of how much time we need to leave between flights.
Are you travelling to Rome on Air Canada? If so you don't change terminals. All Air Canada flights arrive at and depart from Terminal 1.
On the off chance that you are not travelling with Air Canada on one leg of your trip and therefore need to change termimals - you would use the Link train (easy and pretty efficient and free)

Thanks everyone, I'm a moron--I read the schedule incorrectly. You are right flights are in and out of Terminal 1.
