TAKING A FEW DAYS TO TRAVEL FROM NY TO ??????
 

hi everyone, i am new here , nice to meet u all, i was thinking about taking a few days off from AUG 31 to SEP 7 and want to travel alone since my girl is going away with her family and i need a few days alone time just to blow off some steam , but need a place to go thats not too far and will not cost me a lot. was thinking of Montreal but any other places that you think is good enough to go for just spending some time by myself. I appreciate your thoughts and comments. Tx

If you're thinking Canada? For a solo traveller...

Montreal is a great idea. Possibly combined with a night in Ottawa or three in Quebec City. Driving or travelling by train/bus NY to Montreal is pretty inexpensive as far as travel goes.

Toronto's a bit pricier than Montreal but excellent for solo travellers too I'd say.

Knowing where you're starting from would help. Depending which end of Lake Ontario is closer would help.
