stuff for college kids to do in niagara falls.

a group of buddies and i will be staying up in niagara falls in october. we'll be crossing the border a few times as we are from bowling green state university and the main reason for our trip is the BGSU/Buffalo football game. we though it would be a fun trip to include the falls in our plans and make a weekend of it.

so, a few questions.... what's the average border crossing time on an october saturday? we'll be crossing in windsor when we come into canada, so the friday time doesn't matter.

we'll be hitting up the casino both nights, but is there a good night life scene like windsor?

and what are some good non-tourist trap type things to do around the falls?

thanks in advance for you help.

If you find a place in NF like Patrick O'Ryans in Windsor please post. It's my favourite Irish pub in Ontario.

A group of college guys headed for a football game andlooking for Niagara Falls diversions ... probably three main attractions: (1) The Falls, (2) Gambling at the casinos, and (3) Gamboling at the Lundy's Lane ballet.

My bet is that you end up at the ballet!

Hey, Check out "Jet boating". They offer it at NF. Use the search engine. It is amazing. You will need a change of clothes as you will get wet.

I guess the Butterfly Conservatory is out of the question.

But if you are seriously interested in good wine, or chemical engineering students, or marketing students, you'll probbly find the vinyards of Niagara on the Lake to be interesting.

And you're only about an hour and a half from Toronto.

Just find the Queen Elizabeth Way, follow it until it changes its name to Grdnier Expressway, exist as you approach downtown at Spadina north, drive north to Queen Street, turn right, and you're in the entertainment district.

The biggest nightclub just got reposessed by the baliffs, (anyone want to rent the space whre Lucid used to be?) but there are dozens or clubs, restaurants and bars within sight of the CN Tower.
