Stopover near Kingston?
 

Travelling in August from Mont Tremblant back to the US, re-entering via I81, and looking for a one-night stopover before saying goodbye to Canada. Something with character, and close to good food. Family of four. Thanks!

Consider Gananoque, adjacent to Kingston , but lovely location.

jaydub, yes, and I remember it fondly. But it was so many years ago that details have merged with other places and it really would be meaningless for me to actually recommend it. I remember a comfortable room and an excellent meal, but that's about it.

The best dining in Ganaoque is at Casa Bella which, despite the name, is not an Italian restaurant.
